uPVC French Doors

If you’re looking for a stylish and elegant addition to your home that will also let in plenty of natural light, french doors are a perfect choice. They come in a variety of styles to suit any type of home, and their unique design will add a touch of elegance and distinction to your home.

uPVC French doors are more popular than aluminium. French door sizes are usually well within the size parameters for uPVC frames so are an easily affordable patio door option.

Our manufacturers have recently developed groundbreaking patented technology that creates an extraordinary finish that simply cannot be matched by any other matt PVCU on the market.

Aluminium French Doors

The benefit of aluminium french doors is that they have slimmer frames which means wider views and more light. Aluminium doors are also available in a larger range of colours than uPVC as they can be produced in any RAL colour.

If you’re looking for an ultra-modern look for your home, aluminium french doors are the way to go. They have a sleek and elegant look that will give your home a cutting-edge appearance.

Because doors tend to take more of a beating than windows, it’s worth spending the extra money on an aluminium door that will withstand the elements and continue to look good for years to come. Our customers often choose uPVC for the window and aluminium for the doors.

Patio Doors

The right patio doors make such a difference to the way you live. They bring the outside in and can completely transform a room. And with so many different styles to choose from, you’re sure to find the perfect doors for your home.

Space is the biggest influence on the choice. Sliding doors if you want the doors to stay in their own space. Bifold doors if you want to fully open the doors. French doors for smaller space, often to replace existing windows without changing the lintel.

White Sliding doors

Sliding Doors

Sliding patio doors provide plenty of natural light and uninterrupted views. Modern gliding systems are exceptionally smooth and fitted with safety features to protect your family. Sliding doors are available in uPVC and aluminium. Sliding doors are mostly thought of as two doors with one sliding to the side at any time. Sliding doors are a great choice if you want to maximise the amount of space in a room. They work well in small rooms as you don’t need to allow space for the doors to open.

Aluminium has allowed for wide installations with several panes to create panoramic views.

Origin Aluminium Bifold Doors

Bifold Doors

Bifold doors are a great way to open up a room and connect the indoors with the outdoors.

Bifold doors are made up of a series of panels that fold back on themselves. This means they can be opened up fully, making them ideal for rooms where you want to create a sense of space that flows seamlessly into the garden.

The choice of where you place the master door gives you the flexibility of using it simply as a back door when you just want to step outside without opening up the whole wall.

Back Doors

The humble back door has come a long way. No longer is it an afterthought or just a functional door to the garden. In many homes, the back door is now seen as an important design feature in its own right.

Just like an entrance door, a back door can say a lot about the style of your home. It can also be a practical solution for linking the indoors with the outdoors.

We have seen increasing requests recently, for back doors that match the front door, often with a slightly different design such as a stable door or glazed top half.

French Doors to Replace Windows

French doors are often chosen to replace a window in a kitchen or living room. This immediately lets more light into the room and makes the space seem bigger. Usually, the French doors are made to the same width as the window so that the lintel can remain in place for minimal disruption. It is lovely to open up French doors to the garden and let fresh air fill the house.

Aluminium and uPVC

You can choose between aluminium or uPVC for your French doors, each providing its own unique benefits. uPVC french doors are low maintenance, long-lasting and extremely cost-effective. Meanwhile, aluminium double doors provide slim sightlines that maximise the glass area for a stunning design. Whichever you choose, you’ll receive the best quality from Styleglaze.

French Doors & 2 Door Bifolds

When you require two doors, the obvious choice is French doors. However, there is another way. 2 door bifolds may suit you better if it would be more convenient for both doors to fold back on one side. This works particularly well if there is an adjacent wall on either of the sides. Stack the doors on one side leaving the other side clear. We’ll be happy to quote for both so that you can decide.
